Our Story

Every church has a beginning, and ours was built through faithful steps, patient hearts, and many prayers.
Lighthouse Gospel Church began when several families from Perth County were travelling a long distance each week to attend church in Port Burwell. As the number of families grew, the leadership felt called to begin a new church closer to their community.
A leader was sent to help establish the new congregation, and together they purchased a former Presbyterian church building constructed in 1903. It was within those walls that our church first opened its doors.
Over the years, additional leaders, families, and volunteers joined the work. Each brought a heart for the Gospel and a willingness to serve, helping the church grow into the community it is today.
A Young Church for a New Generation
Lighthouse Gospel Church is a growing church with many children, youth, and young families. Our desire is to be a welcoming place where people can learn about Jesus, grow in their faith, and build meaningful relationships with one another.
We are thankful for the energy and life that our younger generation brings, as well as the wisdom, encouragement, and faithful service of those who have been part of the church for many years.
Built by Many Hands
Our story is not about only a few people. It has been shaped by many individuals and families who have faithfully served through prayer, generosity, encouragement, and hard work. Each person has played a meaningful part in building our church family.
Today
Today, our church remains committed to faithfully teaching God’s Word, pointing people to Jesus Christ, and serving our community with His love.
God has blessed our congregation with continued growth, and we now gather for two services each Sunday. As we look toward the future, we are thankful for how God has led us and excited to see what He has planned for the years ahead.
