2000 – 2007

 

Lighthouse Gospel Ministries held its first service Sunday morning, October 1, 2000 and we are still growing strong “In the Lord!”  Throughout the years Lighthouse has experienced many growing spurts.

 

October 1, 2000 – January 2003

       Lighthouse was housed in the home of the Pastor.  The members of the church met faithfully in the Pastor’s basement, which was set up just like a sanctuary.  It was finished with a main sanctuary, fellowship hall, Sunday school room, overflow room, and the Pastor’s Study.  However, it just was not big enough to hold the vision that God had instilled into Pastor Johnson.

January 26, 2003 – October 2005

       Lighthouse Gospel moved across the street from the Pastor’s home into a two-unit storefront facility. While at that facility, God continued to increase the ministry and by the end of October 2005 God told Pastor it is time to “grow again.” And as a result, Lighthouse began its search for a larger facility in which to house the members and the vision he had placed within our Pastor.

November 6, 2005 – December 31, 2005

       Lighthouse Gospel Ministries had a stomping good time in a local hotel’s conference room while awaiting the completion of our new facility.

January 8, 2006 – Present

       Lighthouse has been reviving and celebrating all that the Lord has brought us and has taken us through.  1345 McDonough Parkway, will not be Lighthouse Gospel Ministries’ last Praising Ground. We are definitely and without a doubt looking forward to what God is going to do with Lighthouse Gospel Ministries, for we know that God has placed an international vision of growth within our Pastor, Pastor Johnson.
